Of course it's not, but Purdue just hasn't been Purdue lately. I have gone back and forth with some Marshall fans but I just don't see them losing this.

Cato is gone as is Tommy Shuler who broke all kinds of receiving records and our four year starter at center Chris Jasperse. We do bring back our beast of a running back Devon Johnson an a loaded receiving corps. I think we cover, but I've been wrong before.

Cato is in the CFL now (was one of the recognized players of the month in July). Offensive, we basically return known quantities most places except the QB position. Offensive line should be a strength with Johnson running behind them.

Defensively, the area of concern to watch will be defensive ends. They've underperformed during camp and will be the identified area of weakness for this year's Herd team. Linebackers and secondary have some depth and talent.
