Tulsa is improved but wow.... FAU really handed them that game. You guys should have won. Penalties were atrocious.

Tulsa is known for coming from behind to win. They did it to us too many times to remember. Sucks for you though.

RE: FAU @ Tulsa Official Game Thread
I watched the game and there were times I thought FAU played very well on both sides of the ball. By the end of the game, the heat had taken its toll on the team and the offense looked lethargic. And, oh by God, those penalties!!! I have to agree with those that said you gave this game to Tulsa by way of penalities.

If they would have kept running in ot, I think it would have made a difference

That one pass play on second down at the five killed it...

RE: FAU @ Tulsa Official Game Thread
They should have tried just one off-the-left-tackle run in the OT. Johnson always broke free on those. Instead, FAU decided to run between the guards in the OT.

The end of regulation and OT was sickening to watch. I couldn't imagine how pissed I'd be if I was connected to FAU as an alum or fan. Absolutely terrible.

I think 140 yards. Insane number. I might be off a little on my total.

Johnson is terrible. The offensive play calling is God awful and this teams finds ways to lose

Just lost yet again to an inferior team

The offense scored 40 points in an away game and put up 600 yards of offense with no turnovers and you are blaming THE OFFENSE FOR THE LOSS?!?

RE: FAU @ Tulsa Official Game Thread
Just coming by to say hi and good game to the FAU fans. It was very hot saturday and lots of people were dropping in the stands and field due to heat exhaustion including one of the FAU cheerleaders. I believe she was ok after a while, i think she even returned to cheer. It was an almost full capacity game at the start but by halftime people were leaving due to the heat.

I know im not an FAU fan, but im not sure why you guys dont like your qb, he is a beast and id take two or three of him on my team. I think your coach took his foot off the throttle a little to quick. You guys could drive the field at will on us with the short pass game, but seemed to go conservative every time to preserve the lead.

Regardless of the heat it was a great game to watch with lots of highlight reels for both teams. Good luck the rest of the season.

Some of our fans do like him. I prefer a qb that can actually make all the throws consistently
