Screw the pooch. Washington came so close to eliminating them from Access Bowl slot contention.

That was hard to watch The qb play on both sides was awful

If Boise plays like that the rest of the season they wont come close to the Access Bowl.

There are some teams in the MWC that just raised their expectations after watching that.

Just got to love the overreaction to the first game of the year. It happens every season. It's the first game. Boise looked pretty meh last year in their opening game and still want in to get an access bowl.

They looked pretty meh against a very good ole miss team Washington is projected to win 4 games this year

Wonder if we should just schedule Boise state

Boise State is now on my list of schools to root against, which now looks like:

(1) the entire SEC
(2) the entire Big XII (because we need them to miss the playoff again)
(3) whoever is playing against an AAC school
(4) the other Big XII expansion candidates
(5) Boise State (because of their easy path to an Access Bowl & they precipitated the Big East meltdown by demanding special compensation)
(6) Notre Dame (because they receive special treatment)
(7) Pitt (personal reasons)
(8) Autonomy 5 schools in general

It's good to have such a list - makes a lot of games interesting to me which otherwise would not be.

Again it's one game. Texas AM last year looked amazing in their first game everyone was all over them and then they crapped the bed the rest of the way.

One game doesn't make a season.

Caveat to number 1* We needed Vandy to beat Western KY Thursday night for the same reason we needed Boise to loose.

Add in the fact that Peterson knows the personnel and the schemes and the coaches at Boise.

Missed the damn field goal by inches. Washington QB just wouldn't throw it down the field til the end of the game. I need to get my eyes checked this morning after watching that blue field for three hours.

#6 Because they have earned it. No one is neutral when it comes to Notre Dame. You can't say that about any other team.

Yeah, same here. That field gave me a headache, and even more so, when I was straining to help that last FG attempt go through the uprights.

After watching Boise last night and Utah the night before, my retinas will never be the same.

Wonder why that is? Maybe because poor seasons are few and far between. Notre Dame is well, Notre Dame. Check the history of college football....kinda hard to claim they haven't earned it.
