Congrats to Charlotte
First victory over a FBS victory as a FBS member in its very short history. I really think Charlotte is going to have tremendous football program very soon. Nice job Niners and congrats!

Not every team gets to open against the Washington Generals like Charlotte did

I like UNC-Charlotte.... I'd love to see them develop quickly and get an invite to the AAC. They just fit historically and geographically. They have a great vision for their FB program. And it'd end all the UMass crap.

Why would Charlotte want to take a step back to a weaker football conference? Am I missing something?

For the same reason Marshall would...in a heartbeat. And you know it even if you don't want to admit it.

We would? Why would we? Why would we pay big exit fees and a large entry fee to a conference that is a step back in football? I think some of you American Conference fans truly over value what you have. You have a nice collection of basketball schools but when it comes to football, you are behind the MWC and CUSA. The days of having the Big East brand with schools like Louisville, Pitt, Rutgers, WVU and others are gone. That's just reality.

But how can you be in a conference a weaker than CUSA?
Is that even possible?

AAC teams have played in 4 BCS bowls.
Tell me, which CUSA schools have played in a BCS and/or Access bowl before? I forgot, so hope you can help me out on that. Thanks.
And by the way, can you also tell me how you can foretell the future and know which conference will be better, based off 3 games total, when there will be hundreds played in both conferences. How on earth were you able to do that? Talented!!!

I'm not basing it solely off three games....this goes back to last season. And no, I'm not boasting or bragging, Im just stating facts. Some of you seem to have a hard time with that.

Ha......says the guy who is a member of arguably the worst FBS conference in America along with the Sunbelt. Dont worry, the Mac will be dropping down to FCS soon enough. The wheels are already in motion.
