Men's Basketball
First chance to see the entire team at the FB game last night. If Kuke Knapke isn't 7 foot, he's awfully close. Taylor Adway is listed at 6-9, but I think he's closer to 6-7. Freshman guard Jaelan Sanford, who was listed at 6-3 during the recruiting process, is at least 6-4 and almost as tall as 6-5 Jordan Lauf.

Coach K had a recruit at the game about 6-3 (hope he enjoyed the lightning).

I thought Adway (if that's who I saw) looked at least 6'9". If that wasn't Adway we need to get the guy I saw.

Maybe transfer Steve Taylor, but he's a big body guy and maybe a little over 6-7.

Thought about him because this guy looked older but he looked way over 6'7". Maybe the rain rusted my height estimator.

6'8", fifteen years old, with an outside shot - sometimes life isn't fair!

That could describe me at 15, except I was 5'8" with no shot.

If you've developed a shot and maybe grown some (and have some eligibility left), here's your chance. 03-wink

Meeting for guys that would like to walk on is September 22nd.

Redshirted my sophomore year due to injury so I still have that year but I think I may have passed the NCAA age limit. Their loss, really. Last year was the rare year in the last several where walk-one didn't contribute. Won election and before him Jay Shunner and the kid from Rossford. We've had some good ones including my favorite, who went on to play pro ball, Len Matuszek, sixth man on some pretty good Rocket teams. Of course, he played pro in a different sport but still....
