This is cool: I just learned that if you pay $5 tomorrow, you can take your stub to the Fan Services desk at the stadium and exchange it for a full-season pass for $15. Great planning by Athletics, I think!

I got to the Stadium a little late (but still on-time due to weather delay), with $5 at the ready, but they just waved me in.

What parking lot maintenance is ongoing? The asphalt of the west lot is in shambles

Parking was not problem at all; of course, I came early to tailgate and left at halftime to recover from the tailgating confident of the outcome. Listened on the radio which was an excellent broadcast. I love the sideline reporters stories!! Very helpful view of the inside of the game!! GO OWLS - BBQ HORNS!!

I wonder if anyone was turned away and turned off by the CASH ONLY PARKING? If so, it was a baaaaad decision on RICE's behalf!!

I don't live in Houston, so no eyeball testimony, but I presume there is some pothole filling, striping, gate maintence, etc. I presume it is done campus wide, and a portion of the overall budget is assigned to the stadium, and a portion of that assigned to the athletic department.

The apportionment comes from the Green Eyeshade Department. actual work done is another department.

As a member of the GREEN EYE SHADE profession, we need some cash controls on the entry. Maybe that's what the second person was doing standing there, although it didn't give me much "comfort."
