CUSA picking up right where it left off!!!
Good win for FIU and now WKU has beat an SEC team on their home field. It's obvious that CUSA is once again in position to compete with the MWC as the best G5 conference in the country.

GO CUSA!

UTSA has had an up and down experience the past couple. They started strong in 2013, but seemed much weaker last year. Let's see how it plays out this year. It might be tough, they have a very tough OOC schedule this year.

To go on the road against a ranked Arizona team and play like that...Wow. If not for the turnovers, UTSA wins that game. Bummer loss but a good showing of strength for CUSA.

I think we will continue to get better and better as a conference. Definitely headed in the right direction! Congrats to FIU and WKU. UTSA, I wasn't expecting this from you... so many new starters, but such a great coaching staff and obviously some very good recruiting.

Didn't UTSA start off like this last year. Beat Houston, played with Arozona and then went 4-8.

Let's just hope they keep it up. Their QB looked very good to have not started before. We need everyone to do good in their OOC schedule.

Yes they did. However they had major QB injuries and had to play a QB that who is actually off the team this year. That's why I think if UTSA gets any QB production this year, they will be better than last year. Still not sure if enough to compete for the CUSA title... But maybe a bowl bid. Need to get one win out of these next three vs KSate, @OK St or Colorado St.

As bad as Georgia State has been, I still think it will be difficult for Charlotte to pull this one off but I am pulling for you hard. Hope you get the win.

I agree. Ga State has lost a lot of close game to FBS teams over the past two years and they might just have more experience and they have this game circled knowing it could be a win against a FBS opponent. I'll be pulling for Charlotte all the way. Good luck 49's
