And GaTech laid 65 on Tulane... You know, Tulane...where everyone was saying that their "Defense" would be their "strongest suit."

Toledo 16
Arkansas 7
Start 4th Qtr

How bout Bowling Green taking down Maryland?

BGSU 48
Maryland 27

The MAC is definitely having themselves a day. Toledo has assembled one heck of a team through transfers and getting partial qualifiers eligible and up to speed. Hopefully they can pull this one off, I'd love to see the SEC dealt some sort of blow

Very few partial qualifiers these days. Rockets athletes have the best academics in the MAC 3 of the last 4 years. That started slow down under Beckman then under Campbell it was really reduced. Toledo has really gone after players that maybe have less talent but stronger academically.
The whole OL last season were grad students-that graduated early or were red-shirted as freshman, where do see that?

Yeah, Alonzo Russell and Jonvea Johnson come to mind really quickly for me, but they have seemed to take a more no-nonsense approach to academic qualification in the last year (I'm up in UHall and Stranahan for what it's worth). The only returner on that line (Storm Norton) was in my mom's English class at Whitmer, it has been awesome to see them step it up, and without Hunt too!
