I was looking at some of the historical information on our Memphis Tigers here, as I'm sure many of you all do the same. There isn't much historical information (other than this site) on the tigers athletic programs from the past, so its nice to be able to go back and look up a player or a year that a specific game happened as they all start to run together. I noticed at the bottom of the home page the following caption

"Notice: This site will not be renewed after the current hosting contract expires. I'm afraid you'll have to rely on other sources for this type of Tiger info.
New data will no longer be entered, and the site will be taken offline sometime before February 2016.
Thanks for the support over all these years."

Does anyone know if the athletic department is taking steps to create a new site or possibly incorporate some of this information into gotigersgo.com? I'd hate for such a good resource of information that is Tiger history to go to waste... Might be something that some of you "insiders" can run up the flag pole and see if anyone is aware of this at the AOB.

Man, that's awful. I go to Trips all of the time.

Hosting is dirt cheap. I could rehost the site and database easily but statistician I am not.

I kinda thought the same thing. But, I'm no wizard when it comes to stats and/or internet hosting.
