A number of campus tours take you to the FB stadium. FSU's, a focal point is the statue of Chief Osceola in front of Doak Campbell, which is really impressive.

Good to see this moving forward! Hats off to UT for the steady improvement of all facilities over time. The new President is certainly behind this and right now is a great time to raise money.

That side facing Stadium Dr. does look bad. The graphics they hung help a little, but it still looks industrial. No doubt the upgrade will be very nice.

Hopefully there's clear picture of how they might expand in the future that won't cause all this to waste. If they someday decide to move those light standards, a MUCH higher priority than cosmetics IMO, won't they find themselves taking any facade work back down?

The underneath and concessions, all for it. Logistics, yeah baby. But with limited dollars, kudos to the cosmetics aspects but they do not increase the quality of the experience for me. If that metal work is "industrial," I'm fine with it if the money used for brick could be used better for experience.

Oh and poor Greco! Someone try to scrap off his HOF photo or is it weathered?

I would hope they're moving the lights behind the stands. If not, a waste of money.

You would think there would be enough money in there to do that. I wonder whether they are using LED technology for stadium lighting yet, or if they just can't get enough lumens out of if yet.

Looked this up. Yes, they are being used. University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Home of the NFL AZ Cardinals. Total of 312 LED fixtures used.

OK then, this should be easy. We just give out one laser pointer with every Fan Plan.

Very happy to see this! I suspect it will look great just like every other improvement has been in the past!
