The best thing about not being in Michigan for weeks and months at a time is, I don't have to worry about that voice disgracing my radio when not in range of 96.1.

During the MHSAA BBALL Finals they have student broadcasters (high school kids) do the radio broadcasts and interviews.

Their interviews are vastly superior to Huges. His questions are beyond stupid.

I thought I got away from that crap when I moved back to Ohio, but then on a Saturday night what do I hear. That dumb*** with a national radio show. Ugh.

His interview with Harbaugh was the worst. It came right after Harbaugh did one of his kookiest interviews ever with Cowheard. Simmonson was working so hard to not irritate him it was just sad. Pure vanilla and gushing praise.

He was in Chicago 15 or so years ago. Sports radio was the rage. He was beat up at a bar outside Comiskey Park after doing a remote 'cast and left town shortly after.

He was over the top but then most of them were.

DSR is the single worst sports "journalism" site i've ever seen. They're just a bunch of lowlifes who harass the hell out of detroit sports journalists because they thing they're better than them.

Yeah. Moss seems crazy. I've never read the site until the battle of Huge.

new world..twitter..facebook...personal listeners making pages to attack..best and ONLY way to deal with that stuff is to tune out what is being said about you and consider everything you put on anything, published for the whole world to see with your name on it. You get into a war with viewers/listeners, you can't win and look small every time

Fortunately for me, the only sports station I can listen to is ESPN Radio. All the rest, I just can't listen too. But, when they want to beat something to death, resuscitate it and bring it back to life, and then beat it to death again I would rather cut my ears off. Thankfully Cowherd is no longer with ESPN Radio.

Which is why you rocked at what you did, and was perhaps the first sports anchor at Channel 3 and actually first sports anything in Kalamazoo to give the Broncos the bulk of the coverage.You made it easier to forget about Jack Moss and his efforts to turn the Kalamazoo Gazette sports section an extension of the Ann Arbor newspaper.

I think that his show is all about sales and making the money come in and there is nothing wrong with that. I think his HUGE opinions are part of the problem. Some are very simple and "are you kidding me with that?" and that certainly rubs people wrong. His interview with Fleck was okay, but again, not a lot of depth there and he could not take a hint when it was clear Fleck was not interested in giving out player names or content of a pep talk. Again, it sounds easy to ignore the critics until you get it, it is human nature to take it personally. However, you can't respond to it in a public nature, even if you are 100 percent right. Unless you are humbly admitting you are wrong, i.e. Rome with his band comments last year. As per John, when I came here you had this nice community with division one teams. It was a no brainer to me to make that the top story, while still making sure Michigan, MSU, Notre Dame, Lions etc..were big stories as well. Fun sports town to be a sports guy in. Jack Moss was old school, but he did get the "average joe's" name in the paper on a regular basis and while it was funny at times, it was well read. Could use something like that on m-live as I have not been called a "standout golfer" by anyone since. My ego misses that.
