I commented to someone at work today that I just didn't feel like it should be football season yet and I couldn't believe it kicks off this week. Then, I saw this Marshall video compilation this evening, which is one of the best I've seen. This has all the iconic moments in Marshall's football history dating back to 1895. After I watched this 4 and a half minute video, it completely prepared me for this weekend. I'm ready to go.
Anyway, I'm sharing here because I know that Marshall hasn't been with with most in the league a while (heck, there's two conference members this year Marshall has yet to play in football in this league). I think this is a beautiful intro to the iconic moments in Herd football history and is a window to the soul of Herd Nation.

For anyone wondering, the closing photo shows Phil Ratliff on the far right. He's the Marshall Alum and Charlotte coach that recently passed.

Excellent video clips. The accompanying music struck me as kind of a downer, but what do I know?
