RE: one week from today...
Home opener at 6:30 pm is great! Favorite game day of the year. We are trying to figure out our spread as well. We typically do some sort of BBQ chicken skewers wrapped in bacon, then some classics turned up a notch (burgers, polish with fixins), various dips and salads. Might do some sort of pork roast as well on Saturday. We shall see.

Testing out my new canopy as well, lots to look forward to. GO DOGS

I am curious as to what everyone's tailgating food set up typically is. Want to do something different than burgers and dogs. What do most people cook out?

Here's an idea. Take a sheet of Hawaiian Bread Rolls. Cut them in half. Place the bottom in a disposable cooking tray. Add deli ham and swiss cheese. Heat up on grill til the get nice and warm, Delicious and easy. I feel like this deserves it's on thread. "Tailgate Food"

Flatten him in the first play from scrimmage. Send our big nose guard or tackle through their OL to pay him a visit he won't forget.

I am visiting my daughter and granddaughters who do not have cable. I am recording the game and I will need to listen to Baker and Lindo call the game. That's not all bad, I actually enjoy listening to an occasional radio broadcast.

the best dogs are the long Kirkland brand at Costco

Thank you. I will have to try those. I know that their Kirkland brand is fantastic. I get their coffee K-Cups, and it's the best I've ever had.

Costco is awesome. They have (probably gone now) a potato salad that is the closest thing to homemade tasting I have ever had. Country Maid is the brand. 5# for $5.99.
