GO N-I-F? This is obviously someone going postal ... possible former NIU fan with the "GO" part but the "F" part in the acronym? Bashing the little ten (MAC), along with that -- an indicator not a true NIU fan... just a disgruntled fan. Maybe a Purdue fan who's pissed they've sucked for so long?

I heard him talking about it at lunch. That's just dumb. Love listening to Goff. No need to give him a reason to not cover NIU football. This is straight out of a cave.

So he's an NIU fan, but why would he say fvck the WHOLE little ten (MAC)? Doing that is a slap in the face of NIU, as that would mean MACC's mean little, hence, little G5 power to claim to have. Doesn't make sense. I could see one saying "FVCK *staying* in the Little Ten", if AAC opportunities arose or something. Anyway...

I think he's calling the Big 10 the "Little 10", not the MAC. I'm assuming they spent the whole show talking about everyone except NIU (well, all Big 10 anyway), based on history.

Other than the language, I agree with him.

The Little Ten refers to the Big Ten, not the MAC.

They already don't cover NIU generally, so it doesn't matter if he's given a reason for it or not. Would he have even brought up NIU if not for this, uh, comment, by the NIU fan?

Just caught the end of the Spiegel/Goff show. I heard Goff singing and mocking NIU while the fight song played. Wondered what brought that on.

Fans who use derogatory nicknames for teams (and in this case conferences) as if it's cute/clever are....special. kinda fits the model of callers/texters to sports radio though.

Is it possible it's MD, who hate listens to the Score, or is that too psycho even for him?

Nothing makes me angrier than when another person in the same fanbase makes me feel like a White Sox fan. This is a good example.

Just means that schools like Ohio State and Iowa aren't the only ones with crazy fans.

I mean, they thought that "college football" in Chicagoland meant that they were going to actually talk about college football.

Whoever it was went full "Roll Tide" mode there.
