A signature bowl (or two) is very lacking in the American. CUSA had a better bowl with the Liberty tie in.

No whining here, just an observation. AT LEAST SI lists the AAC first alphabetically, ahead of the ACC.

I kinda thought that was part of the reason for the choice of the name for the conference.

The CUSA HAD better tie ins. But not anymore they weren't going to keep the Liberty tie in

Birmingham Bowl game would be nice. Maybe get a shot at that Missouri team we should be playing for our first game.

The AAC is essentially a new conference, and is already well ahead of the other "G5" conferences in most ways except for bowls . IF the present membership stays together, it will be fine in a few years - Rome wasn't built in a day.

Does anyone know anything about SB Nation? I've been reading a few articles on Cincinatti's SB Nation site and it's pretty interesting-they are ranking their opponents from easiest to hardest, and providing an overview of the matchup (they are down to their top 3 hardest and haven't done us yet). But our SB Nation site is pretty dormant. Certainly not as active as theirs. Any idea why or if it can be corrected?

Just pointing out my opinion. Something the conference needs to work on badly.

Hawaii would be great for the players and the staff. Also gives me something to watch Christmas Eve night while putting together Santa stuff.
