It was a weeknight. It was cold.

You should have come over to the Convo lot. There were more of us out there but it WAS cold & very windy.
We were thankful for many many of those hand & foot warmer things!

It was cold and incredibly windy that night even from the PS lot. It takes a lot to deter me from tailgating, and I was pushed to the brink that night. I can't even imagine the convo lot! You're brave! I had the hand and foot warmers too, and I'm pretty sure those were the only things that saved me that night. (Well, that and the handle of Jamo)

LOL yea - we had a handle of Fireball that helped. Plus a box truck that helped block some of the wind. It was pretty damn brutal for sure.

So what do you do with the dog during the game?
Hand her off to the lady who *sigh* doesn't like sports...

=/

But i work the sports games now so i don't even tailgate anymore, until I'm done with school

I've never been so embarrassed in my life admitting my other half hates watching sports

I had a Weber stolen by leaving it outside the vehicle. You can't win. Now, my only grill is a little Smokey Joe Weber, and I really only bring it to road games. It would not be a big financial burden to replace.

1-How early can you start tailgating ? When do they open lots? I am a "seasoned" human being and my memory is not what it use to be.
2-I know they have changed "where" you can tailgate, any suggestions on best place to tailgate, or maps would be appreciated.
3-Any other "thoughts" or "suggestions" are welcomed, but those two are the ones that come to my mind.
Thanks folks and go huskies....see ya at the game.

Ok have to add another criteria "this one is for the ladies coming with us"
4-Need decent bathroom accommodations for the ladies so please keep this in mind when providing any suggestions...
Thanks folks.

If you park in the Convo lot - $15 for parking open 5 hours before game starts - they actually have the Convo open for use of the bathrooms. We are talking FLUSH TOILETS for the ladies. If you choose an area kind of in the middle of C2 it's not a bad walk to the bathrooms. They also have port a pots. Not too bad of a walk to stadium either.
Since this Sat. will be a hot day, I highly recommend you have a canopy or 2 for shade. Since we don't know how windy it will be (Convo lot is windy if there is any wind because it is so open out there) I suggest bringing some rope to tie your canopy to coolers on each leg and/or tie a leg to your car unless you have weights.

Now that's what I am talkin bout!!!
That is some good info.
Thank you!!!!
