Don't take anything anybody on a messageboard says seriously. Ever.

Course, that was true in I-AA too. Especially those Furman and Appy State gomers.

Despite my hatred for App, AND being one of the few GS fans who just feels kind of bad for GSU instead of wanting to trash them at every opportunity, that was freaking epic. I was watching at work on espn3 at my desk and LMFAO.

And if the toilet runs at night, it is your job to stop it... Meat.

But seriously. Don't take shortcuts. Don't take the move for granted.

It may take a little time, but you're gonna love the step up in competition . . . This is our third year FBS, and our AD has done a great job the past year with scheduling some exciting opponents . . . . .

. . . . And when you come to Texas, just remember that we have two seasons:

HOT and DAMN HOT. . . . Welcome to The Belt!

Man, I rem. That play, light sweater weather up at app, and they were keeping their Georgia warm selves stuck in the snow... would have been funnier to watch them try to play us later last winter when we were in the negative 10s

Except CatMom, because she is always serious. If you don't believe me, just ask because I'll tell you so. If you still don't believe me you get on my list.01-lauramac2

I remember watching that game thinking, "I don't know when we play at App in 2015, but I hope it isn't in November"

We play in November.

Thankfully, we sort of let the Apps come in and beat us (Though we did come close to coming back from a 3 score deficit in the final 3 minutes) so the team should be at least fired up to not let that happen again.

That's my first time seeing any footage from the App game last year. Man...that was brutal. I'll be honest, we totally earned that. Lol...wow.
Based on THAT, my advise, take every failure and set back as a learning opportunity. Based on the past 5 years we should be BRILLIANT soon!

App used their transition year to break in a Freshman QB. He went 3-8, and no one noticed. They went 7-5 last year and became the first SBC team in a long time to win in Lafayette and Jonesboro in the same year.

Lamb was actually a RS our first transition year. He came in and took the starting spot from a Junior who had started the year before.

To your point though, we did play a LOT of freshmen the last two years with eyes on 2015 and 2016 now that we have something to play for.

It was a ridiculous choice and I rem. Me and the rest of the crowd found it annoying as hell, that being said your boys just weren't ready for that kind of weather yet I still saw a team trying to compete so kudos on that

There was some pregame mind games being played by our boys as well. Several App players were warming up before the game on the field with no shirts on while the Georgia Dome boys bundled up like Eskimos.
