Quote:BROADCAST NEWS: Former UC quarterback Tony Pike will start his first full season as sideline analyst for Bearcats radio broadcasts on WLW-AM (700). Dan Hoard and Jim Kelly Jr. return for play-by-play and analysis, respectively. Mo Egger returns as host/engineer.

Pike replaces Tom Gelehrter, who has taken a private business opportunity but still works on UC coaches shows and some televised games. Gelehrter will call play-by-play for Saturday’s game on Fox Sports Ohio with former NFL linebacker Frank Stams as analyst and Lauren Gardner on sidelines.

Kickoff: Saturday, 7 p.m.

Where: Nippert Stadium

TV/Radio: Fox Sports Ohio/WLW-AM (700)

Last year’s records: UC 9-4, Alabama A&M 4-8

I'd rather they be in the NFL, but this is a very good alternative. Tony did well last year from what I saw of him, I'm excited to get him more involved in the broadcasts.

So is the game even going to be on TV now? Noticed the Reds now have a doubleheader today with the 2nd game scheduled to start at 6:10pm on FSO as listed in the Enquirer this morning.

Let's see...do I want to watch a pos baseball team play with nothing on the line or an explosive UC team play their first game in historic nippert stadium...hmmm....can't quit decide....

Bearcats will be on TV, Reds 6:10 game wont be on TV
