RE: Missed opportunity
Liberty should be allowed to move up as an independent. The NCAA makes all kinds of other exceptions to it's rules and if any team could hack it as an independent Liberty should be able to. That said glad CCU got the call.

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao Don't know if I'm laughing at "The vastly superior CUSA"
OR Liberty belonging there . . . . 03-lmfao either way, very funny . . . .

Why is it so important that the Sunbelt take Liberty? Why doesn't CUSA take them if they're such a great add. Your conference sure isn't any better than ours, so that shouldn't make any difference.

Oh well, you win some, you win some. We'll take our chances on someone else picking them up.

CUSA already has 14 members

Gents. It's been real. I appreciate you putting up with me. I still feel that Liberty is more prepared (larger student body, facilities, full fcoa, money) but I do congratulate the Coastal folks and hope it works out well for both parties. It's time for me to leave. Later.

RE: Missed opportunity
Liberty would have been a great add for several reasons but the one negative lingers. The leadership and power structure is too centralized and in the hands of too few. Period end of story. That's not going to change anytime soon so I say enjoy the amazing growth and be happy with the current circumstance. Fine university just not a fit for this conference. Best of luck to them. 04-cheers

That's lemonade in the mugs by the way.

I given you and your school a lot of grief, but I truly admire your ardent spirit and commitment to seeing Liberty advance itself.

Imagine how fun the tailgates would be at Falwell Land. I hear they are lifting their ban on soft drinks this year COGS Such a fun atmosphere to watch a game.
