Indeed, Memphis rarely loses to a Stephen F Austin, and certainly not them, Tulane and a CBU exhibition in the same season.

Which is why last season's 18-14 was disappointing overall. But we knew then that the crew would now think they are being originally clever by never dropping what was in reality a few rarities, which is why they are called....rarities.

Sorry Mimi, but acting like there isn't a problem doesn't get the problem solved. I've said many times before that I want Pastner to succeed here. At some point you have to admit it's not working.

Also, blaming players is just crazy. We're getting the same kind of players talent-wise that we were getting under other successful coaches for the most part. Top ten recruiting classes most years under Pastner.

My singular point here is that the what were and what will prove to be rare losses based on opponents last year will be over addressed.

Let alone the mocking of the exhibition loss....they will never let that go...even if it is already meaningless.

The idea that 18-14 was not a clear poor season that must be addressed this year is not exactly deep...or disagreed on. The relentless bashing, mocking and dickedness simply gets tweaked back some for the amusement value of watching the mockers later whine about...get this...being mocked.

Over reactions are indeed the norm...but is a shame here.
