RE: MAC race, where do we stand?
I think Akron is like a 2 point dog on Saturday. In what world is that a huge upset?

I don't quite understand where that line is coming from. CMU wins this game by 10

NIU needs to win out and have CMU lose another game.

Gracias, thanx for keeping it simple haha.
The Toledo game is huge. If the Huskies beat Toledo once again, then Toledo should be favored vs CMU, and that could put NIU back in the driver's seat.
Lose to Toledo, and then were are looking at the fringes of the world of theory, hoping that CMU loses to EMU and/or Kent and Western would need to lose to Ball State, and Toledo would have to lose their last three, the moon would have to be in the seventh house and Jupiter would have to align with Mars..

Yea... This isn't the MAC East. No 2 loss team to two teams INSIDE the division is going to the MAC Championship. If NIU loses, it's between Toledo, CMU, and WMU.

CMU beat us, but they didn't impress me. They did nothing until we gave them the ball multiple times on a short field.

Ok I will. I predict CMU represents the west in MACC. I don't see Toledo going up there and winning

Hahaha. They nearly lost to Ball State last week. They can't run the ball at all. No way you're getting through November unscathed in the MAC with 0 running game. Even Bowling Green has more of a running game.

Hold on, let me grab my spoon...
He wants you to place a bet on CMU to cover the spread if you are so sure they will win by 10.

The "phrase" was meant in reference to you having an opportunity to "bet the house" on CMU only giving up -2 as you feel it should be a double-digit spread.

I'll take the winner of the NIU / Toledo game as 70% chance to win the west.
CMU's schedule would practically give them the West if they beat Toledo though, almost a guarantee. The only slight hope would be if Akron upset CMU this weekend, other than that, CMU wont play another close game all year.
If CMU is so dominating, how did they play such a close game with Ball State? Losing in 4Q.
I would not be surprised to see CMU lose against Kent or EMU, especially at Kent. Less likely than Akron but would not call it much of an "upset"
