USM - MSU rematch in HoD Bowl

Could our walk through the wilderness be near an end?

Tech would play GA Southern in the NOLA Bowl?? MEH, but I would still go to the game. I would much rather play in the Indy or HOD again.

That was a particularly goofy prediction coupled with their season prediction of USM finishing third in the West behind Louisiana Tech and Rice. Can't see any reason for Dallas to jump past two closer West teams with better records. Pencil USM into New Orleans.

So, the same predictions are for a WKU-Louisiana Tech championship game. The C-USA champion still gets to pick their bowl game, right? CFN must be projecting Western Kentucky, with the Hilltoppers selecting the Miami Bowl slot against the AAC. Would WKU make that choice?

Some USM fans are going insane over these predictions. Can't wait to come post them here. Reality is USM has won 4 games in the last 3 years and have yet to play one game this year. Waiting to see if all this preseason hype for a team like USM has had the last 3 years has legs might be a prudent move. Talk is cheap. Results on the scoreboard are what matters.

No offense to my USM brethren but I would bet that Rice would be top choice with Tech next. If its MSU then both USM and Tech would be out as rematches aren't very exciting for Bowl games at our level. I think NOLA is gonna be the destination for USM this year.
