At FanFest I noticed he was hanging away from the rest of the team. He was over by the cars in the parking lot whereas the other players were in the grass of Tiger Lane. Coach, LB Wynn and Paxton were in RV with line of people eager to meet them. When I sought out Dorceus he had a bit of an attitude, he had just argued with someone. Had a pretty good convo with him and he lightened up with a big ole smile (not DeAngelo big but ya know). Said his legs felt good "I'm 100%. Both knees feel great. I'm ready to play every down." I had the same thought....No Dorceus? But I love Sam Craft too!

BTW: I asked Sam about basketball. He said "I want to play both SO bad." He's a great athlete. Was great at both in HS. Just like Shaq Goodwin.

Sometimes it takes two years to get over an ACL tear.

And not necessarily a good one for our chances this year. It should be Dorceus/Cooper all day with the fresh meat filling in. Craft was not impressive at RB besides gashing a terrible Cindy defense that Stammers could have done same to.

I think I will trust Fuente judgement than a message board poster. He does work with these kids.

Plenty of guys in the 2 deep will see the field this year. We may not have a bunch of seniors next year but we will have guys with experience. And, the guys coming up are as good, if not better than the guys starting this year. We have recruited well on the OL.

We'll also have Nick Thomas (scrappy guard), Keenan David, and Brytain Peddy. The last 2 will redshirt this year, but they have huge size.

We'll most likely sign 3 Frosh and 2 Jucos (maybe 1 transfer) in the '16 class.

Well I'm smart enough to see that Sam isn't a RB. He should exclusively be in the slot or the outside with the occasional misdirection.

Agreed. We should have the RB skill and depth to keep Sam Craft at WR full time. I'd like to seem him get +50 receptions this year.

So you are smarter than Fuente who took the worst team in the nation to a 10 win bowl champion team

Yea because that's totally what I said. It doesn't take a blind man to see that Sam isn't a RB. Dorceus looked like the best back we have had in a long time before he got hurt. Cooper wasn't stellar, but he saw the running lanes way better than Craft who didn't see them at all.

Not sure why the RB position is such a question (to some on this board) since it has already been reported a number of times that multiple RB's will share time at that position. Can't wait for the 5th --- think we'll have a nice offense this season. :)

Wow. Interesting. What's with Avery at linebacker. I don't see his name.

Kinda jumps off the page, huh?

Dorceus will play as reported in the Commercial Appeal this morning. They just want to ease him back into the game and give him more time for healing.

I've heard that Kuhn is hurt and won't play Saturday, which is why Keyser is starting.

Sounds like Gentry just beat out Pennington, Crosby, and the JUCO...as a true frosh. He and Henderson were the steals of this recruiting class.

WHen did 6'0 210 not look like a running back...Deangelo was only 214 AFTER his senior year.

Now different running backs are needed for different schemes...Most of our running plays use misdirection and a smaller/quicker back may be much more appropriate in hitting/finding holes than a larger less agile back.

We DO NOT run a traditional offense

Smarter than Fuente, smarter than Pastner, smarter than Bowen, smarter than Rudd. A whole gang of 'em. Should be running the school and every sport any of 'em cares about.

Just ask 'em. Oh, yeah, you did.

Where in the world have you been?

So you not gonna say you are smater- just much more observant? Or that Fuente is blind? Or blinder than a blind man?

Good God, man-what IS your point?
