Torn ligaments in his thumb, had surgery last Thursday and is doing fine. Out for the season, but at least it isn't a knee.

So you blow off a finger and are out 2 months but you tear a ligament and you are out 4 months? That is lame.

Good to know that surgery went went and hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

Or you could have a big ol club and hit guys upside the head with it. Use to see that some back in the day...

There are a limited number of 6' 5" 300 pound athletic guys in the world. As long as he can recover, he will get his shot. Extending his career is a good thing assuming he gets paid on injured reserve.

Looks like it is his other hand this year. He might be put on the short term IR, which I think allows him to come back after Week 6. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
