2015 football schedule
Can someone post the 2015 schedule UAB would have played? Most sites have replaced it with a note about cancellation. Thanks.

RE: 2015 football schedule
Tennessee in Nashville
Georgia state
South Alabama
@Troy

Would've been no worse than 3-1. Really GOOD chance of 4-0. Sorry, dont believe in what the vols are doing. It would've been more competitive than you'd expect. Just like the MSU game in '14. This UT team is nowhere close to that MSU team even if we just got lucky on a couple of deep throws.

Games at Marshall & La Tech, then WKU at home would have been toughest games. Probably MTSU, FAU(or @ FIU), USM at home. Add in a game against ODU or Charlotte & one West division game.

That's assuming we wouldn't be forced to play one team on the road or at home in 2 consecutive seasons.

Cody, Jordan Howard, DJ Vinson, Gerald Everett, and Jamari Staples would all be here, just off the top of my head. A lot of tight ends would be gone, and both specialists, but we would have been very good.

RE: 2015 football schedule
Wouldn't we have been in the West this year since Charlotte is East now or am I mistaken?

Massey:

#30 (neutral) Tennessee
#106 South Alabama
#121 @Troy
#127 Georgia St

CUSA West:

#49 La. Tech
#77 Rice
#97 UTEP
#111 North Texas
#115 UTSA
#116 USM

In that scenario, not counting whatever 2 east opponents we would've had, we would have been favored in likely 6 games on our schedule, if not 7 of those. Our Massey ranking would have likely been mid 80's coming into the season. We had a very generous OOC schedule to set us up or a 7-9 win year and of course it was ruined.

There's no question the 2015 Blazers would've been the winningest team in school history.

But there's no reason the 2017 team can't be.

I was hoping for the actual schedule, with dates and opponents.

RE: 2015 football schedule
The conference part of the schedule had not been finalized I believe in regards to dates. I could be wrong.

The other 4 games were though.

Tennessee was the 1st game. The other 3 may have been in the following weeks.

May be hard to locate an exact schedule of the 4 OOC's.

If someone looks at Troy's, USA's & GSU's schedule they may be able to determine it.

RE: 2015 football schedule
I remember being so excited about the UAB/Tennessee game in Nashville because that would have given me an opportunity to double dip that weekend. Alabama State plays in Nashville against Tennessee State the following night in The John Merritt Classic. I was looking forward to some joint Blazer/Hornet tailgates.

True.

UAB's C-USA opponents would've been
UTEP (probably @Birmingham)
UTSA (probably @Birmingham)
USM (probably @Birmingham)
Rice (probably @Houston)
UNT (probably @Denton)
LT (probably @Ruston)
+ 2 Eastern Division teams. Just a hunch that MTSU would've been one of them.

I have no doubt the 2015 Blazers would have been the best team in school history. Clark even said on the radio last week he wouldn't have been surprised if the 2015 team had cracked the top 25.

This year's team would've won C-USA in my opinion.

No one can prove that UAB would not have been the National Champions in 2015.

Ergo, using the Bammerist principles on which this state was founded, we should claim a title and print a bunch of undefeated bumper stickers.

RE: 2015 football schedule
South Alabama is playing San Diego State on Sept 19.

Seems like that may have originally been the UAB game.

And as a process of deduction, Troy plays Charleston Southern at home on Sept 12.

That home game may have been the UAB game that was to be played there.
