RE: Most Passionate FANS in CUSA?
Every school has a handful of posters who go way overboard. I think those Herd fans who seem to be a little boastful or obnoxious do it just to get a rise out of other posters. In general, you will find most Marshall fans to be humble and always being respectful of the opponent. You will find no other place more welcoming to other fans than our stadium and those tailgating around it.
You'll also find that a vast majority of MU fans like CUSA, our conference brethren and the potential this league has. jmo

We are 4-32 over the last 3 years.

But will sell more season tickets then anyone else in the league. And will be in the top 3 in avg attendance this year (if not lead the league). Mark it down.

SPACESCAPE do you realize your entire stadium capacity will fit in our endzone and our largest crowd is more than double your capacity? let's see what you draw in your tiny stadium after 8 straight years of losing. Why didn't you pick the photo showing over 44,000? At least be the league a little longer before you act like a jerk.

I think that CUSA has just as passionate and "Sensitive" fans as any P5 school. Its the fact that we are fewer in number than them. The passion is there and we tend to be louder than the haves because we have to be

Hey, our fans are so passionate they run around naked on the field...during the game. (Technically gifted fan please insert Canadian streaker GIF here).

And we're so passionate that at our BB games, we cheer on a topless fat guy in a man sweater. (Technically gifted fan please insert Dustin GIF here.)

Lord only knows what we'll do if we actually win a conference championship. We'll probably need to lie back and have a cigarette.

That top ODU attendance of 20,118 would have been UAB's fifth-largest crowd last year ...

That's their stadium's capacity, or roughly 2/3 of the shaded portion of Legion Field in that picture.

Define "passionate".

We have gone to battle with our own state government for our team. You bought a seat cushion.

What a dumb premise for a thread. Everybody thinks THEY are the most passionate.

Ok, so I took the time to literally count every body in the stands in this picture. Given the pixelation, all numbers are approx. I've given my count/approximation by sections, so feel free to correct any numbers you feel are materially off. (I did not count the participants on the field).

There are about 43 people on the far side off the stadium.

Starting with the section closest to us and moving away, the top sections above the walkway have the following number of individuals...
4, 10, 9, 11, 17. 8. 18, 27, 20, 30, about 30, about 25, 13, 15, and 5 the rest of the stadium's top sections. That's about 242 total.

Now repeating, closest to fatherest sections, for the area below the walkway...
38, 46, 60, 46, 43, about 50, about 60, then about 4 sections with (benefit of the doubt) 80 bodies each, 28, and 11 the rest of the way. That's 702 people in he bottom section.

I physically count 987 people in the stands in this picture. I have posted my counts by section. Please let me know which sections you materially dispute my counts or assumptions and I'll correct.
