Yes it is absurd, but the university itself has come out and clarified numerous times that these "guidelines" are in no way, shape, or form mandatory. It came from some random office on campus for "diversity and inclusion" and is in no way, shape, or form, mandatory, or based on everything I read in the article, even suggested.
We know.
That's beside the point. The point is that this is coming from a part of a public university, or at least it is to me.
How is that 'besides the point' when the first post in fact states the University told their employees to abide by these rules? Stop being intentionally dishonest.
In fact, it doesn't.
Did you even take the time to look at the first post on this thread?

The University of Tennessee has told its staff and students to stop calling each other 'he', 'she', 'him' and 'her' - and to start referring to one another with terms like 'xe', 'zir' and 'xyr' instead.
The Knoxville branch of the public university sent a memo round to its members filled with unusual new parts of speech to avoid referring to anybody's gender.

I have no issue with someone being trans-gender or gender questioning, but is it not a step too far to attempt to augment an aspect of language that has been present for millennia for such a small portion of the population?
Come on HoD, I know you don't like me, but don't make blatantly untrue statements out of spite.
Check who wrote that.
I quit responding to you long before that post.

Sure, seems like a rational response to a single email that was nothing more than a suggestion and the administration itself has been outspoken that absolutely no employee will be pressured or that the email does not represent their opinions. Seems truly rational to posit that sort of ineffectual non-power will destroy this nation.
This is how it starts 08. No one would possibly have thought a couple of decades ago that the crazy schit these Libs have gotten foisted on us now could have happened. It is totally rational to be wary of this schit.

Another potshot, that you won't defend, because if you provide anymore information I can further eviscerate your argument as I have with most of them you've presented across this messageboard.
Certainly there are very intelligent, rational conservatives whose opinions I disagree with but that can be defended, and a few on this board fit that bill. There are also unintelligent liberals who stances I agree with but whose arguments defending those stances I wholly disagree with as they do not hold up under any semblance of scrutiny. Unfortunately, you mix the worst of both worlds.

Not worthy of a response. Straight out of the play book
