WKU beat #5 Wisconsin tonight. A great way to start the season! We were ranked #35 in the Preseason Poll. We beat them in 4 sets. The scores were 13-25, 25-23, 25-19, and 25-19.

Women's volleyball is an awesome sport. My daughter played d1 until she hurt her back. Based on the scores, it looks like WKU has a great coach that found an area to attack and the girls figured it out.

I bet that the Wisconsin team was all northern light club girls. They are always great in club vb.

Huge win. Congrats. Rice got rolled by #3 Texas, but came back impressively yesterday to defeat LSU in 5 (they were receiving votes probably about at the same spot as WKU, and then we beat UC-Irvine in 4. That was a pretty exciting CUSA tournament championship last year with WKU and Rice, and while we're young too, maybe we'll see a repeat finals this year (and hopefully the league gets more than one NCAA bid).
