I know, it's art.

It was Dr. Dre and Snoop had a verse. The b*tches in the song were two men actually. It was a metaphor to show the similarities between the business relationship with these two men and a relationship with disloyal women.

Lmao. Ok.

The Chronic was art. You should pick up a copy.

You don't have to like the answer for it to be correct. It even says as much in the song: First guy's name is Eric Wright (Eazy-E). They had a very good relationship, they went platinum and things were all good. The relationship at that point was so profitable--and because there was an understanding there--that Dr. Dre didn't worry about what Eric was doing outside of things that immediately concerned him because he couldn't fathom him doing something behind his back.

After a while he finds out that Eric has been doing some side deals with a manager named Jerry Heller (second guy), who effectively ended the business/personal relationship, forcing Dre into going off with another record company. When he left, Eric and Haller sued him for a royalty on all of his new songs. In Dre's opinion, they just sued him because Eric didn't have any talent as a lyricist or a producer and was just a face.

At the end it says that, after any similar, it's normal to be heart broken but you still have to move on.

The wife's away so I'm here for lyrical analysis all night long.

Ok Nomad, I'll bite.

"And when I'm on the microphone you best to wear your sweater,
Cause I'm cooler than a polar bear's toenails,
Oh hell, there he go again."

So why the foul language if thats what theyre trying to say? There was a time that I listened to that, yes, I had "The Chronic" and I loved to smoke it. NOBODY I knew thought of it the lyrics that way.

At some point in life you look back and just admit it was filth, plain and simple. I mean, read all these lyrics...

Damn, I haven't heard that song since I was like 10.

I can only assume that, with the song being called ATLiens (and being from Outkast) that it's simply experimental lyrics to go along with an experimental style.

I'm pretty sure the way I said it would be a little too wordy for verse. I also imagine those who you knew weren't familiar with what's going on with that whole situation, being mainstream listeners. That's the reason they didn't think of the lyrics in that manner.

As to the delivery: Why not? Why does Tarantino have to tell good stories to so much violence? Why didn't impressionists just paint hyper-realistically? Why does anyone do anything different?

Hey every critic agrees that is one of the worse lines in music.

Not so sure I don't completely agree with you here. Fear he may well be a charlatan at some level. Even a stalking horse of some sort.

Would hope he has better things to do than that, though.

I'm not. He's the second biggest leftist troll so I would have been surprised if he hadn't embraced Trump.
