Official MTSU crow eating thread
After all the talk of not allowing criminals to stay in the program and not actively seeking them, it appears Kermit has decided to make our program eat a healthy dose of crow. Looks like we have signed a criminal transfer from Arkansas. Complete exoneration of all charges will be the only thing acceptable to me. The guy shouldn't wear our uniform at this point. Hopefully he won't but in the meantime I like my crow with hot sauce. 03-puke03-banghead

Not sure. Not a good move. I suspect that the arky transfer will be on a short leash and let go with the first wrong move. I have no faith the guy will make it through the year sitting out.

At least he kicked off the other two guys for something they did....Must have been pretty serious for both to be off the team...Yet MTSU fans want to throw stones at WKU....This happens most everywhere unless you are in the Ivy League...

This young man has been given a chance to turn his life around, hopefully he takes advantage of this opportunity.

Maybe a change of scenery will be beneficial for him.

Three. Kermit has kicked off three basketball players in the last month.

If he is taking this kid in Lord only knows what these other three did. No one has been given the DL on why the three were kicked off (in what appears to all be separate incidents).

But how disconnected is Kermit if those three were kicked off for something like being late for practice while taking in someone from another school who is now facing serious criminal charges. I don't know for sure, but my guess is those three failed drug tests. That's usually what happens when they won't reveal the cause for the dismissal.

Something bizarre about dismissing players who smoke a joint in the same week that you accept a kid charged with a Felony that smacks of dishonesty like passing counterfeit bills! Maybe, Kermit's decided that MT needs to get a new gangster image.05-mafia

and kermit davis and middle tennessee perfect university is going to give this guy a chance??????????

threeifbylightning.......A FELONY. A FELONY. A FELONY. A FELONY.

i'm pretty sure passing counterfeit bills rates right up with c.p. in your list of not to do. am i correct? i mean, you've gone on and on and on and on and on about arnika brown (which i don't even count because she didn't play a real sport) and now you have your own counterfeit bill passer.

isn't this delicious? i'll take a second helping if kermit is still serving.

And yet we have the BEST APR of any school in CUSA and rank in the top ten for academic performance among athletes in FBS! If we can cut out the sleeze balls, or just redirect them to Western where they are more readily accepted (kind of like the Hill Toppers former coach Petrino). 03-nutkick

RE: Official MTSU crow eating thread
Well Beed, you guys are familar with the counterfeit thing perhaps you all can help us get through it. Though technically he didn't do anything at Middle, but I don't get what Kermit is thinking here.

Western Kentucky University women's basketball player Arnika Brown was arrested over the weekend in her hometown of Hopkinsville. Police reports allege she used counterfeit money to make purchases there on Saturday.

She's charged with 11 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument First Degree (all Class C felonies) and five counts of Theft by Deception Under $300 (all Class A misdemeanors). She was jailed and then released from Christian County jail Saturday night on a $120,000 surety bond. She'll be arraigned in Christian District Court on Wednesday morning.

Didn't miss a single game after pleading out!!!

But there is so much more that we haven't even gotten to yet. Even the women get into the felonous acts up there and it's not just Ms. Brown...

A former Western Kentucky women's basketball standout who now works as the team's graduate assistant has been charged with drug trafficking. Police arrested Kristina Covington, 26, along with four others at a house in Bowling Green on Monday.

Still though my favorite is Leon Allen and his three arrests over the past year or so and guess who will be starting Thursday night? That's right he too won't miss a single game!!!

And if you guys want to keep this going I have a lot more in reserve that I haven't had a chance to get to yet.
