RIP Louis Paul
Local Memphis musician died in a accident on Wednesday in Mississippi. He was in a number of bands...but was best known for his time in the The Guillotines.
I met Paul back in 1998 when I was an assistant manager at Mapco Express...Central & Cooper location. After we had been robbed...Mapco hired armed security for us for the rest of the year...and the guard our store got was Louis Paul...who at that point switched careers from music, to law enforcement, security...and also as a studio producer for small time artists who wanted to make their own records or cds without having to pay major labels big money.

He was a SERIOUSLY funny individual..and more than that a better friend.
RIP Louis...you certainly earned it.

I knew Louis from way back in the day. He knew some friends of mine in another band. Sorry to hear about this.
