I see Memphis beating UTEP by more than 2 TD's. If we had not lost our starting QB it would have been more. I am not impressed by UTEP at all and think once they get to MEMPHIS we will be all over them. The west division is so VERY, VERY weak I think their best team would finish 4th or 5th in the East. The Texas teams are horrible and are going to really drag this conference down.

On Oct. 15, we are going to personally drag Memphis down.

How could you even say Memphis will win by 2 TD's and keep a straight face. All Memphis has is a solid runningback with a secong string QB, not a good combination. UTEP played a bad first half but showed in the second what they are capable of doing.

I think UTEP and Houston both have alot of skilled players on offense but the defenses of both are terrible. It will be interesting to see what happens when east starts meeting west.

Gray Ghost....Where in the h--- do you loyalities lie. How dare you make apologies for me making a statement about the West Division. It is an insult to our conference to have these do nothing that are not committed to having a competitive conference. I can't believe we took in RICE, TULSA, SMU and UTEP. What are these WAC schools doing in football to be competitive?.....Rice losing to TEXAS by a ton...Way to go OWLS and how about SMU...what a downer this weekend. I wish the East had just kept an 7 or 8 team conference than have to play the nobodies of the West.
