In 12 days, the football haters are going to miss out on one hell of a show at Kermit Tipton Stadium.

And Ben, in comments, told them one last time that the saving money propaganda was one big lie -- and the athletic spending numbers of the following decade prove that. It was about football hate from the get go -- never understood why Stanton hated the sport. Well, they had their run and it's over for them. GO BUCS!!!

I remember standing in the rain on the sidelines with Dr. Stanton watching our sons playing midget league football 30 years ago.
He certainly didn't hate football. I even remember him saying he loved it.
Many years later though, he seemed to lack the courage and vision to stand up for it. I don't know. Perhaps too many voices from the dark side had his ear.
At any rate, I've got my season tickets. It's about the future now, except for some sad character at the JC Press.

I hate articles like this. This piece wasn't written to inform anyone. Its a "Click" piece. The more clicks the paper can get the more money they can make, nothing more nothing lass. My guess who ever writes these pieces gets paid by the clicks the article receives.
