Does JMU have a reason to be mute on this issue besides Bourne and Alger struggle to decide on what color panty to were to the job?

We have tens of millions in athletic infrastructure and we can't announce a COA decision, go figure.

Originally,Alger was afraid of the legal ramifications but now the NCAA is giving each Div 1 school 55k to divey up between student athletes.

We're already one of the highest budget FCS schools in the country... what we need is more expenses. That makes sense.
If you didn't think we'd make the jump before, we sure as hell wouldn't make it if we did that.
I don't think NDSU has any intentions whatsoever to move up, so it makes sense for them.
Bring down our budget first..... then let's talk about giving the athletes some money aside from the scholarships.

Let me get this straight, are suggesting that JMU with a large fcs budget and the most expensive fcs stadium in the country should not pay the COA to remain competitive even at the fcs level?

I nominate you for the JMU BOV, you would fit in very well.

I feel like paying full cost of attendance and staying in FCS would be like paying for premium gasoline but pumping regular into your car. I'm all for the move-up, and I'm all for paying full cost of attendance, but I think those two things go hand in hand. Right now we are paying FBS prices for an FCS product.
