Travis Shaw article on ESPN
See http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/red-sox/p...ey-ramirez

He's having a good season with the Red Sox, hitting .312, with 7 homers in 93 at-bats.

I never knew Travis was the son of Jeff Shaw

Just clicked on the box score and Shaw is really mashing the ball. He has 9 HR in 139 AB. Projected over an entire season and proper number of AB, that is 35-40 HR. Kid could stick.

Some of you could probably care less, but to me, this is a complete slap in the face to us. Maybe three years off campus and too much clam chowder has led him to forget where the hell he actually went to school.

Makes me sick. Screw him, he is dead to me.

That's cold. I'm going to pretend he stole a bat from Nick Swisher.

Getting a bat from Nick Swisher is like getting a new bat.

For those who want more, our Oregon hero and the MAC's all-time hits king decided to publicly call him out on the matter.

Unfortunately, your blood may reboil when you see the typical honk response.

I didn't realize that they started using bats to play football. All I can say to that response is that there is only one team in the state that has beat a ranked football team this year and it isn't Ohio State....

Boston at Cleveland to finish the regular season in a couple weeks. Let's go sit behind the Red Sux dugout and heckle him.

Now I get it. Same reason why I spend money on OSU football tickets. I love my Alma Mater but I like to watch winning football.
