That's not really a laughable result. Army football has been dreadful since Todd Berry and the CUSA years.

I'm not sure it's really salvageable.

Fordham fans have the ego to think they should upgrade to FBS because they beat FBS schools. Shoot, if they are in a conference with Charlotte, Georgia State, Troy, Idaho, U. Conn., USF and some other FBS suckiest teams? Fordham might be the conference champs at the FBS level.

South Dakota State was a playoff team last year; they lost a close game in the 2nd round of the FCS playoffs to 4-time defending champs North Dakota State. Kansas reportedly had only 65 players on scholarship after the Weis train wreck.

In other words, it's not an upset if South Dakota State wins this game.

True. But still, nobody would have expected South Dakota State to put up 30+ points in the first half on a B12 team, even if it is lowly Kansas.
