Dear 1990 Rocket Football Team Member,

On behalf of The University of Toledo Athletic Department, we would like to extend a special invitation to you. On Saturday, September 19th, 2015 the Toledo Rocket football team hosts Iowa State University in which is sure to be an exciting game. The kick off is set for 8:00 p.m. As a member of the 1990 MAC championship team, we have planned a special weekend for you and your teammates and hope you can join us back on campus.

As part of the reunion team gathering, the hotel listed below has provided rooms at a discounted rate to all members of the 1990 MAC Championship football team.

Saturday, September 19th, 2015 Tailgate: 6:30 p.m. Tailgate at the Varsity ‘T’ Pavilion
Please join us for a tailgate at the Varsity ‘T’ All Sports Pavilion prior to the game. The pavilion is located at the south end of the Glass Bowl. Hot dogs, snacks and beverages will be provided.

Greet the Rockets:
7:30 p.m. Greet the team as they enter the field
Meet us by the Rocket at the northeast corner of the stadium to greet the team as they take the field to battle the Cyclones. Members of the 1990 championship team are invited to remain on the field until the first media timeout, as we will recognize your championship team at this time on the field.
Tickets for the game: 8:00 p.m. UT vs. Iowa State
We invite you to be our guest at the game. We will provide you with two (2)
complimentary reserved tickets to the game.
To receive your tickets, please follow the below instructions:
1) PriortoGameDay-
Call Julia Kudla at 419-530-5087 to reserve your two (2) complimentary tickets to the game. If you wish to order additional tickets, you may do so. Tickets can be mailed to you ahead of time or left at will call to be picked up on game day.
*Tickets are based upon availability and may only be received by following the above instructions. Complimentary tickets are limited to two (2) tickets per person. Additional tickets may be purchased at a discounted rate of $17.50.

Discounted from what? Should be glad they didn't round it to $90 as some cheap gimmick.


Cheapest flight to De'troit or Chi-ca-go. Mega to Toledo. Show up at Pres. Graber's digs with a shower cap and toothbrush. Should be enough space there for the whole team, even with 25 years of spread.

On Expedia the rooms go for $101+. Sounds like a decent deal.

I'll sell you my car for 16K. Oh wait, Sunday special! $4K, it's a bargain! Trust me.

$85 for a hotel without a view of ... anything? Not me brother. Where's the motel 6? Forget that. Where's the motel 3.5?

Well, at least it's close to the hospital, in case someone over does the buffet.

No one called me a cheapskate?


This board's getting too friendly.

Just had a wedding in Niles, Michigan (20 miles north of South Bend) and the hotel was 135 dollars. No view of anything in particular and Niles isnt exactly exciting so I'd say 85 is a deal, especially since most hotels in the Toledo area when I stay are over 100.
