R.I.P. Justin Wilson
Indy Car driver Justin Wilson has passed due to injuries sustained in yesterday's Indy Car race at Pocono. Sage Karam crashed hard into the wall with the front of his car sending debris onto the track. Wilson following behind was hit in head by the nose cone of Karam's car. Wilson was airlifted to the hospital in a coma and passed this evening.

It's easy to forget, with the safety improvements made to cars and tracks, just how dangerous the sport is.

Some are starting to pushing the closed cockpit idea again. Not sure how they will be able to overcome the heat problem with a closed cockpit though. Very little airflow and enclosed cockpit will create a lot of heat for the driver
