I went by the Jack today to drop off some Season Ticket monies I had collected and saw that they were painting the gray walls behind the leather seats MAROON. Man it really looks good. Don't know how much more Maroon they are going to put in the Arena but this is really an eye catcher. Love it!

They should have put maroon leather and plastic seats in the arena rather than the black and gray.

It shouldn't be any more expensive to manufacture maroon seats than gray seats, and I wouldn't think it would be any more expensive to die leather maroon rather than black. I may be wrong, but that's my thinking.

I would guess they'd have to re-upholster all the seats with maroon leather. Leather is expensive, and that's a LOT of leather. The gray seats are in place so no cost there.

LRTrojan stated that is what should have been done originally. No argument with that. I don't believe he was suggesting we redo all the seats at this point in time.

Absolutely not. It's too late now for that happening. And when some of the leathers need replacing due to wear or abuse, they'll have to be replaced with black. It would never be cost effective to replace all the black leathers with maroons.

Ah, I see. Yes, I agree. Maroon would definitely have been better.

Isn't it ironic, they put maroon seat in Alltel for the Trojans, and they put black and gray seats in our own arena.
