Military posters, can the American soldiers awarded the Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur wear this medal on their military uniforms?

Yes. I wore a German schützenschnur on my uniform because I passed German weapons training.

I'm surprised, and I'm not being sarcastic, that there wasn't a call to prosecute the Americans for a hate crime and assault on the el Khazzani.

I'd expect that the Muslim community would be holding protest marches in support of their brother.

The perp's attorney is already spinning a story that el Khazzani was homeless and hungry and only wanted to rob people. Then those cowboy Americans intervened.

I visited San Tropez this spring. Americans were denied service at restaurants, and a 50ish executive had a chair thrown at him. Those cheese eating chair flinging pricks can eat a dick.

A bit of info for Viet Nam vets. Aside from the RVN Campaign Medal and the RVN Service Medal you are eligible for approximately another 15 medals that the U.S. government endorses. I have a list that maybe one day (I doubt it) I'll address to the U.S.A.F. Record Center. Maybe. One. Day. LOL

I find it interesting that the Americans and British are still saving the French.

The Franks were a Germanic tribe that settled in France. It may have been the Angles and Saxons who pushed them out of Germany a couple thousand years ago into Roman territory. And then bailed them out against the Germans in the World Wars.
