The diminution penalty applies to the current C-USA contract. it wasn't cut. They won't penalize us for whatever the next contract is.
Should be exit fees only.

It may take more weeknight games like you say, but I simply don't see it going below the MAC deal. I think 800k is pretty much the new floor for FBS football.
The SBC isn't really a good comparison because they're on an old deal. I expect to see the mac, cusa, the SBC on pretty equal footing tv revenue wise once all conferences have new contracts.
The SBC is a good indicator considering the amount of members that came out of that conference plus the FCS (which do have potential). If you haven't noticed cable companies are getting slammed and cord cutting is real. The bubble I think finally burst in conference payouts. If CBS was willing to lose inventory for nothing and buy AAC inventory, that is a bad sign on what they will be willing to fork out. The only hope is will Fox try to get additional content. If fox passes on c-usa, it will be low. $300-500k is the top end in my opinion. C-Usa is large so they have to split out money with a bunch of members.
