OT: The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)
Could've swore we had an AAC Walking Dead thread but I'm not subscribed to it so I guess not.

Anyway Fear premieres tonight. Who else will be watching?

Supposed to be a slow burn in the beginning and you have to admit the final half hour was intense

RE: OT: The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)
Watched. The vibe is that they're trying to make these characters human before **** goes down. I don't think they played up the fact that their is a big conspiracy surrounding the events.

So far we know that authorities are on to something, they just don't know what. Like when the doctor wanted that patient moved downstairs after death because there was "a lot (they) don't know". The kid with knife knew about cases in 5 states, so we know that the news has touched on it.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)
It was too slow for my taste. I get it that they are trying to establish characters but so far couldn't care less for any of them. I'll keep watching but the pilot was disappointing

Re: OT: The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)
They haven't given us any sympathetic characters. Tom riddle the druggy?

Maybe it will get better. So far I am rooting for the zombies to get them all

I'll admit I was half watching this borefest while I surfed the internet but the whole relationship status was confusing.

You have some middle eastern looking dude living with a blonde lady clearly married or in a relationship with a son that looks kind of middle eastern. I was trying to figure out if it was his son for about 5 minutes. Then the Middle Eastern dad has another middle eastern looking younger kid on the side so you are like where is this going.

Then the sister acts like she hates the brother but as soon as everyone leaves is sitting on top of him feeding him and looking like they are about to make out. Get to the school and is this chick the principal, vice principal. What. what's her job just to wander the halls and undercut here co-workers for a 25 year old high school student with a knife and bad fake acne. Is the black dude the principle etc. Nothing is spelled out very clear. You just have to guess work. Hey lets go to a crime scene multiple times and not call the cops and get our DNA all up in there. About the only thing I learned was teachers in LA must get paid nothing if you are still driving a 1984 Ford F150.

Good synopsis. Made no sense. Did a fifth grader write this one. positive note- not sure it can get more disjointed. The only one that half way caught my interest was the bad acne told yo so kid

RE: OT: The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)
AMC is cheap. Probably couldn't afford an Azteck when they run over people just yet like in breaking bad. Someone at the junk yard must have given them the truck. Doubt that thing could even pass California emissions. I noticed the windshield was even completely busted up when they were stuck in traffic before he even hit the zombie.

Watched some of it. Did not hold my interest at all.
The AHS Hotel commercials were very intriguing though.

Meh, I only have a couple of shows I watch. This is just barely good enough to keep me watching. The fans that think this show is amazing though or that the main show hasn't gone downhill I certainly can't agree with them. It's pathetic when you could walk backwards and still out pace the zombies or women and kids could kill them left handed with a butter knife with little issue. I was hoping these new deads would actually move a little quicker. AMC overcompensates with excessive useless goriness to try to make them less lame.

Thank You. I keep saying to myself how did the zombies overrun the army when kids and women can wipe out a whole horde of them with a screw driver

The only way they are even scary anymore is in massive hundred walking hords. The only way these idiots get bit are for being idiots and yet we are supposed to believe these are the best of the best survivors but then they do the stupidest crap. What really gets me though is when they constantly camp outside in a tent or sleeping bag around a fire. I think I could find a car or building or something and lock myself in one cleared out room of some building get up on a roof whatever.

Did you forget that episode when they were stuck in the car and a massive Zombie herd was seeing walking up to then on the road and that one guy stayed in the car but then fought his way from the entire zombie heard without a scratch. LOL. That's when it started to go downhill for me. I still watch it but come on you have to be consistent, don't ask me to believe that Zombies could overrun the nation but that one dude can fight thousands of them off without a weapon and come out un scratched

RE: OT: The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)
Admittedly, I'm a huge fan of all things "apocalyptic" in nature, zombies included.

Like many, I am a huge fan of TWD. I really liked the first episode of FTWD as well. I like the idea of watching the world blow up as long as it's fictional. I also like the dynamic of the families involved and the fact that they showed "real" LA and not the Hollywooded-glamorous side that most of us associate with the area.

I really like the "Nick" character as well; the idea of watching some tweaked out coward manage a zombie infestation is interesting.
