That sucks. Yeah, at this point unless you're injured you probably need to be on almost every special team unit and get some reps late for an undrafted rookie. At least he acquitted himself well when he got a chance to get out there.

Yeah I had to DVR it and watch today because I wasn't home and it ended up cutting off at the two minute warning, but I didn't see Brown at all. Little bit of a good sign though was that I did see Sage after I didn't see him at all last week. He got in on a tackle at the line of scrimmage one play and had one or two more where he got good pressure on the Ravens QB.

Dont know that is the case necessarily.

The third preseason game is usually the one where the regulars get the most work and teams begin to solidify their two-deeps at all positions. The fourth preseason game starters and even the first line of reserves get almost none.

I would say if Daniel gets little time in the final preseason game, that is a bad sign - but not necessarily that he didnt get work in game 3.

considering Steve Smith was ejected early in the 1st half and they needed to go down the depth chart further it is a bad sign. I saw him in full pads in the 4th right behind their douchebag of a coach hoping to get into the game but their offense sputtered and defense let the Skins run out the game. He might have got some time if they had another drive or two but it wasn't meant to be.

RE: Daniel brown touchdown
From what I've heard (and what makes sense), coaching staffs know exactly who is going to make the team at this point. They've seen players through OTAs, mini camps and summer camp, not to mention preseason games. It's a mere formality at this point. I've read that Brown has flashed at times in practice. They've got a lot of redundancy, though, with the same type of big receiver in Baltimore. If he doesn't get stashed on a practice squad, perhaps someone else picks him up.

"Brown streaking down the sideline."

Uhhh, not so sure about that, but nice grab nonetheless. Tipped ball in double coverage, went up and grabbed it with both hands and had the Safety bounce off of him.

Wonder if a team like the Panthers would take a look. Losing Benjamin for them is HUGE, and immediately dropped them (yea, yea predictions- tits on a bull. But still), from a projected 9-7 to 6-10. Is one player worth 3 games? I find that laughable, but points to how important a lot of folks thought that connection would be. Would love for them to give Brown a look.

As a Panthers fan, we NEED a guy like Brown. The receiving corps right now is a disaster. If only they had some decent WRs I think Carolina would be pretty good this year. Cam cannot rely on just Olsen.

You think John Harbaugh is a douchebag?

Is that more Redskin jealousy rearing its ugly head?

Don't know much about him....is he worse than his brother? And he can't be worse than the Ravens old coach...his arrogance himself, Brian Billick.

No, he is clearly one of the best coaches in the NFL. He and Billick took the team to Super Bowls.

The Ravens cut 3 WRs earlier today. Brown was not one of them! They still have to make 7 more cuts by tomorrow so he is not yet safe, but its a good sign that 3 other WR were already in the first cut.

John Harbaugh hasn't ever seemed like a douche to me, his brother sure has though.

Definitely a good sign that those receivers were cut without Brown being one of them.

Hardly. The Ravens own a losing record to the Steelers.

Good news for Brown! Also Sage Harold was not cut by the Redskins today. I think both are good practice squad candidates. Good luck to them!!

Another TD by Brown tonight. A 10 yard back shoulder fade for 6 late in the game against Atlanta. Hope that's enough to at least make the practice squad.

3 catches on 4 targets for 30 yards with a long of 15 and 1 Touchdown. Hope that's enough to make an impression.

Just as important... He blocked a punt right before that, that led to that TD!
