AAC football facility upgrades
Hey guys. I'm putting together info on football facility upgrades for AAC teams in the past five years for an article I'm going to do down the road. I've compiled a pretty big list already.

Can you guys post what upgrades in football your schools have received lately to make sure I don't miss any? It needs to be in the last five years. If possible, please provide links.

Thanks for the help and info.

Houston

2013 - As part of the Metro light rail project on Scott Street, the City of Houston encroached on two UH football
practice fields. Metro paid for two new fields by August 1, 2013 (in time for fall camp).

While they were building the fields, UH paid for one of the fields to be converted to an artificial surface.

2014 - $128M TDECU Stadium https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TDECU_Stadium

2018 - Planned opening of a $25M indoor practice facility, which includes covering the current artificial practice
field as well as a football-only weight room, nutrition center, lockers, etc.

RE: AAC football facility upgrades
houston
for revenue sports

new stadium (tdecu stadium)
--complete renovation of the current weight training facility
--a $25 mil basketball development facility

in the next 2 years:
--the hof (our bball arena) is expect to go under a complete renovation
--a new football IPF which will also house a more compex football only weight training facility

non revenue:
--the track facilities have been completely renovated
--the swimming facilities have been completely renovated
---the baseball facilites has add Major Upgrades (like the largest LED display in college football, atleast when it was announced last year, and Lighting upgrades to meet espn broadcast standards)

there are alot more for non revenue but im not that versed in that nor do i know the future plans

another houston fan wil probably come with links and more info

RE: AAC football facility upgrades
I dont know how many millions spent specifically on Memphis football facilities over the last 5 years but it includes:

new weight room
renovated locker room and team meeting rooms
new dressing for football lobby and recruiting lounge
new turf practice field
$12 million phase 1 Liberty Bowl Stadium improvement project including Tiger Lane, exterior stadium illumination, new visitors locker room, renovated home locker room, new media interview area and recruiting reception room
phase 2 Liberty Bowl Stadium improvements including new upgraded field lighting package, 2 new video screen scoreboards, new turf field, updated fan concourse amenities including the 50 yard line lounge and luxury box remodeling and complete painting and watersealing
new $17 million Indoor Practice facility including 120 yard field, new players lounge, athletic cafeteria, coaches offices, recruiting lounge

pretty sure I'm leaving something out. its been a LOT of money laid out since Tommy West got fired
