10 of 14 C-USA teams provided numbers to CBSsports. Florida Atlantic, FIU, and UAB the highest.

RE: Cost of Attendance Numbers Nationwide
So are some not paying cost of attendance or just didn't provide numbers?

And when did Western Kentucky move to Tennessee?

How is WVU's $2700 but Marshall's is only $2000.....isn't this based on cost of living? No way is it more expensive to live in Morgantown than Huntington.

I'm concerned about what might become of college football as we head into this new era. This COA may end up dooming the G5s before it is all over. That being said, it appears North Texas is offering a very competitive amount compared to other universities in Texas, and among the highest in C-USA. The numbers seem to indicate UNT will offer more then SMU, UTSA, UTEP, Texas State, and even Texas A&M. As far as I know only Texas Tech, TCU, Texas, and Houston are the only programs paying more in the Lone Star State. If these figures are accurate, North Texas should be competitive on the Texas recruiting scene. I haven't seen any numbers on Rice or Baylor yet.

Every team in the Sun Belt has a higher COA than Notre Dame, by more than a $1,000.

Ga St. is 3570 yet Ga Tech, right across the street is at 2,000. Something isn't right with these numbers. Id be OK with everyone offering the same $2000 stipend per player, but these different amounts open schools up to too much corruption. I hear Va Tech was originally given a much lower number, so they cooked the books a little to get a higher COA so they could pay more. I don't think a kid will make a decision over $500 dollars, but if I'm looking at ODU for $2900 or FIU for $6000 per year, thats a $12,000+ difference over 4 years and would certainly sway my decision.

Morgantown is actually much more expensive than Huntington. Average rent is about 40% higher as is average home price.

How can FAU be $6,000 but only a total cost of $300,000 max as denoted in the footnotes? Just football would be over $500,000.

Does the COA have to cover all scholarship athletes in all sports, men and women or is it limited to football? Because if its only for football, I can definitely see a title IX lawsuit brewing.

FIU's AD said the COA will cover an equal number of male and female athletes to try and avoid this situation. Go F I U!

TXST is paying for 225 athletes. I assume that is at or close to all athletic scholarships? I actually haven't sat down to check.
