My SAT score was in the top 5% of the nation and top's in my school... I got a dictionary and a golf clap at a student assembly. A classmate, i.e. someone with every "educational advantage I have" got a score several hundred points lower and got a scholarship.

Across the state in NY my future wife's score was even higher, placing her in the top 1%. because she was the wrong color of immigrant / minority she also got nothing.

This was 20 years ago. If you can't see that the few legit advantages of being white have been marginalized by the disadvantage of being white then you're a fool.

My kids are always "other" because despite being women if they assigned themselves either of our races it would be harder for them.
