I'm sure it's been posted somewhere, but how has golladay looked in camp? Is he looking better than Canada? Curious on his style as they are both pretty similar in style.

RE: Golladay
All indications point toward a good camp. You can see NIUs athletic website on the WR preview or HW daily notes.
Btw his size is similar to Brescacin but their style is quite different. Golladay is way more agile and will be a bigger deep threat. Look for Juwan to move the sticks and focus on outs, digs, and 10 yard ins. They will look at Kenny to stretch the field and isolate the corners and post routes. Wouldn't be surprised if he saw some screens as well since he has some speed. He returned punts for North Dakota.

Throw it deep. Let the big guy leap. I am really looking forward to seeing him play in a real game. I have to admit that when I first saw a thread with his name on it, I thought, "Oh, crap! He got in trouble."

With Canada running the intermediate routes, Golladay stretching the length of the field, and TLL Beebee and Duecee underneath. Good God! This is going to be a fun offense.
And I did the same thing Huskie Jon!

RE: Golladay
The only cause for hesitancy on the offensive production other than some youth on the offensive line is the fact that Hare's development was slowed a little bit last year, both in terms of reps and also the throws he was allowed to make. Almost would have liked to see the training wheels come off last year to optimize this year. I think its inevitable Hare is going to have some pretty bad stretches this year while growing and asked to do more.

We won the ******* conference championship last year. Why "take the training wheels off" to develop for the following year when you are in a title hunt?

They did "take the training wheels off" in November and let Hare read everything himself, taking advantage of the fact that he's so smart. His sh*tty stretches last year coincided with them trying to make things easier for him as a first-year guy. Eventually, the staff figured out that he could do it all himself and let him go. With another winter to rep and study, he should have a great command of the offense.

Take it with a grain of salt it's the madcap world of Maddawg where players that have never played are labeled saviors, and ones that have are issues.

I believe that what Maddawg was trying to say, is that he expects Hare (along with the MAC conference) to continue "surging" this year.

The conference will probably have 3 teams in the top 25, and clearly will represent the G5 in the Access Bowl. Row the Surge!

Remember guys, this nonsense is coming from the same person who likes Toledo to win the MACC this year. You know, because they don't have inexperienced guys on their O-line and their QB played a full season.

I think was MadDawgz attempt to continue his tirade over not settling on a QB early last season. And in his mind, this hindered Hare's development.

And he thinks a conference that draws 5 times as many fans and brings in 4 times as much money as the MAC is doomed to end any day. #AAC is doomed

Last year, a lot of MAC fans were saying Toledo's Offense would be down with the losses of players Owens, Reedy, Fluellen, Kerin. I said UT would be fine and they were. I'm telling you right now that the Rockets will have one of the MAC's best OL in 2015. UT's QB not playing a full season? Woodside, the back up, passed for 2272 Yds 62.6% Completions 19 TD's 8 Ints. His Qbr was #4 in the MAC.
Terrell 164.4
Licata 150.7
Rush 149.5
Woodside 142.5
Hare 136.3
Frohnapfel 132.2
Bell 125.9
Hendrix 121.3
Knapke 118.4
Reardon 112.3
Pohl 105.9
Sprague 99.9

You completely missed the point of my post. Also, you don't have to try and convince us how good Toledo is every time I call out MD for being a fan.
