The University of Cincinnati football team has landed six players on the watch list for the 2016 Reese's Senior Bowl.
Per a press release Wednesday from UC:
Six University of Cincinnati senior football student-athletes have been tabbed to the watch list for the 2016 Reese's Senior Bowl: OL Parker Ehinger (Rockford, Mich./Rockford), WR Mekale McKay (Louisville, Ky./Moore/Arkansas), WR Chris Moore (Tampa, Fla./Thomas Jefferson), DE Silverberry Mouhon (Norcross, Ga./Norcross), WR Shaq Washington (Maple Hts., Ohio/Maple Hts.) and CB Adrian Witty (Deerfield Beach, Fla./Deerfield Beach).
The Bearcats are among 350 student-athletes from nearly every level of college football who are competing for 110 roster spots to form the North and South squads for the nation's premier all-star game. A player not on the initial list can be added to the watch list during the season and be invited to the 2016 game.
The 2016 game is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.
Thirty-four former UC players have participated in the Senior Bowl, most recently Jeff Luc in 2014 and Isaiah Pead and Derek Wolfe in 2012. Pead was the 2012 Most Valuable Player, former wide receiver Mardy Gilyard was the Offensive Player of the Game in 2010 and former UC quarterback Jack Lee was the MVP of the 1960 Senior Bowl.
The Senior Bowl is college football's premier senior showcase event, annually featuring the nation's best senior collegiate football stars and top NFL draft prospects on teams coached by NFL coaching staffs. Senior Bowl practices and game week festivities are attended by general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts and other front office personnel from all 32 National Football League teams, making Mobile and the Senior Bowl the week-long host to a one-of-a-kind NFL Coaches Convention. For more information on the 2015 Senior Bowl please visit the bowl's website at http://www.seniorbowl.com.

That's a lot of players; have we ever placed more players on the watch list?

I never heard of the watch list either. That being said, we had five Bearcats make the Senior Bowl from the 2008 team:
Connor Barwin
Trevor Canfield
DeAngelo Smith
Mike Mickens
Kevin Huber
There were three the following year: Tony Pike, Mardy Gilyard and Mike Windt.
