Or at least the in-state or regional games that should pique interest.
NMSU's annual games both draw but will be a lot of work for the building Aggies.
La Tech and Houston seem to be the only other blood feuds going, though I'm sure GaSo would relish a victory over UGA.
They're probably not rivals but Mizzou will be a big game and MSU has gotten play here.
If you think I've scrapped a legit rival, add 'em back in.

i wouldn't call UGA a rivalry for us. we hate them, but I wouldn't say rivalry in football.
with our recent move up it is hard to say in terms of OOC rival right now. If we go back to atlanta and beat GT next year, that could become one. If Marshall ever wants to play us, we could restart that rivalry.

We have owned La Tech in every sport except football over the last 15 years. Too bad football is all that counts.

AstAte's games with Mizzou and Mo State will be fun because they are close by but we not played either enough to consider them a rival. If Mo State ever joined the SBC I could see it becoming a rivalry but that's a big "IF".
Our traditional rival has been Memphis (70 miles apart) but they have the big head now and don't want to play ASU anymore. They have a Razorback mentality lately...claiming they have everything to lose and nothing to gain. Lame!
I'd like to see us find a close natural rival we could do home-and-home with for an extended period and develope that kind of rivalry (I.e. Memphis, Tulsa, Southern Miss, Vandy, etc.)

What? Men's basketball is 5-5 in the last 15 years and the Lady Techsters have a 39-1 record vs ULL.
I know they don't hit our schedule for a couple more seasons, but Sotuthern Miss will be ours. We are separated by 90 miles and already play in other sports.
Tulane could also be there, we beat them a couple years ago in the dome, so we have that.
The closest thing we have to a rivalry with Missouri State is a regular baseball series each season. Football almost never plays, and basketball hasn't played in a few years (Likely owing to the fact that we got obliterated).
Our OOC Rival is Memphis State...Or Tiger (Well...the word is censored on here, but if you put High after Tiger, you get the phrase) as we call them. As of last check, the Tiggers have no desire to renew that series.
We used to hate Tech...I think our old alums still do, but alas that was so long ago. The closest thing we have to a football rival each year is a conference football game against the Cajuns.

I guess South Alabama, Idaho, ULM, and Troy don't have rivals?
Well, here's my guess:
South Alabama: Southern Miss, UAB
Idaho: Boise State
ULM: La Tech
Troy: UAB
I think everyone is missing the fact that the OP was referring to games you have this year out of conference that could have elevated interest or potential for a rivalry.

Yes, you acquires my drift.
Perhaps another thread is in order for overall potential rivalries.

Give us a ring when you field a baseball team. Oh wait, that's the UNTs, right? No, actually applies to you guys as well.

Even baseball is 4-4 in the past 15 years. No idea what he's talking about.
