At this rate, that's all that's going to be left. Every time they go through a round of layoffs their coverage just gets worse. Less real news and more "shopper mom" and photo spreads from spring break.

The only name I recognize associated with UAB coverage is photographer Mark Almond.

Mark Almond has been a photographer for countless UAB events. I hate to hear this news.

I guess everyone can go join whatever it is that Alabama Power is building.
